Free music events – Vézelay celebrates !
During four days the village will be celebrating. Magical music, magical place, several encounters will be offered to the public every day in the streets and in the Borot square, which will become, during the festival, la Place des Rencontres.

Discover unusual Vézelay

11-30 am – 1 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm

Discover unusual Vézelay with a local guide and interpreter, accompanied by musicians.

Outdoor concert

6 pm

Same programme on the same day as the concerts in Avallon, Asquins and Saint-Père.

Introduction by musicologists
Increasing numbers of people take part in these introductions where musicologists give you simple keys, illustrated by numerous musical examples, to bring about better listening of the performed works.

From 3 pm – 3-45 pm
Musical presentation every day, at the venue of the 4 p.m. concert.

From 6-30 pm to 7-15 pm
Round table presented by a journalist, with the conductor of the evening concert, musicologists and artistes. Every day, in the narthex of the basilica for the 9 p.m. concert.
