I am pleased to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Rencontres Musicales de Vézelay. The Arsys Bourgogne choir and the festival are a pride to us. Pierre Cao, the conductor from the first hour , has hoisted his singers to the highest level and brought his ensemble to be known as one of the best in Europe. He has also managed to leave the beaten track by offering original themed concerts, commissioning works by contemporary composers, unearthing music sleeping in the shadows of archives, recording works by unknown composers, etc.. He has also known how to go out and meet the burgundian public in all of its four départments.
 
The Rencontres Musicales de Vézelay, of which Arsys Bourgogne is the heart, has become a festival of great quality, open to all, convivial, offering encounters between the spectators and the musicians, drawing more and more music lovers each year.
